Join the PTO – membership is only $3 for single family and $5 for family membership. If you join by September 30, 2009, you will receive a coupon for a free Chick-Fil-A sandwich.
Support our big FALL FUNDRAISER: Share the CherryDale catalog with co-workers, neighbors and friends. Wunderlich gets 40 percent of all sales. Kickoff is Monday, September 14 with all orders due September 30. For selling, your child can qualify for the Awesome DJ Party at the school later this fall with Prize Drawings (TV/iPods etc.). They can qualify two ways – by selling 10 items each or if their grade level sells 1,000 items total.
Volunteer by adding your name to our Volunteer Database and/or sign up for one of our committees: Concessions, Hospitality, and Fundraising...they all need help now!

Why Should I Join? |
The 2008/2009 PTO raised more than $10,000. New benches for the front of the school have been purchased and will be installed in Fall 09. We also helped bring a published author to campus for the day and are giving a cash donation to the school. We contributed more than 800 volunteer hours to the school. Past PTOs have donated digital cameras, computer stations and mascot uniforms. We also run the concession stand for athletic events in the gym, provide hospitality events for teachers, and fill in the gaps for staff as needed. |

How Much Does It Cost? |
The cost is $5 for family membership, $3 for single parent. If you join before September 30, you get a free Chick-fil-A sandwich coupon. Your membership fees go toward the general PTO budget and are part of our fund-raising for the school. |

How Else Can I Help? |
The PTO will receive a percentage of all purchases when you link your Randalls or Target card, donate used printer cartridges and cell phones, or donate Box Tops for Education. These secondary fund-raisers netted nearly $1,000 last year.

Do I Need a Criminal Background Check? |
If you plan to volunteer regularly, you will need a criminal background check. You will not need one if you are only helping at a couple of special events. Print background check in English, Spanish and Vietnamese.

When does the PTO Meet and can I Attend Meetings? |
Yes, you may attend and our Board generally meets the second Tuesday of the month at 6:00 pm in the administration area of the school. We will also hold two general meetings during the Open Houses this year. |
