G.E.M.S. - Giving Empowerment Motivation and Support: |
Membership: Select 7th and 8th Grade Female Students
Purpose: To be an effective organization with the aim of empowering young ladies to recognize there own potential to be leaders in a personal and social context. The organization will allow young ladies opportunities to experience and participate in various activities while developing a satisfying sense of oneself.
Meetings: Every other Wednesday morning at 8:15 A.M.
Activities: Character development, mentoring, community service

Membership: 7th and 8th grade students who meet requirements at the spring semester *Students must have a cumulative semester average of 90 or above with no U's in conduct and not more than one P. Eligible students are evaluated by faculty and chosen by a faculty committee.
Meetings: usually the first Wednesday of every month at 8:15 A.M.
Activities: staff school store, raise and lower flags, select and carry out a service project, provide ushers for Fall Open House, and host teacher appreciation luncheon
