Reporting Absences Parent Reminder
As part of the Stay in School Program, if a student is absent for any part of the school day, it is mandatory that his or her parent/guardian contact the attendance office within five (5) days of the absence. If the attendance office does not receive information from the parent/guardian within 5 school days of the absence in WRITING, the absence will be marked unexcused, and the student will be considered truant. After (3) unexcused absences within a four week period the parent will receive a letter from the District Attorney.
7th grade Student Immunization Reminder
Incoming 7th grade students need to make sure their immunization records are up-to-date. Please click here to make sure you have all necessary information for the 2012-2013 school year.
Reminder for Custody-Related Issues
Please assist us in the handling of custody-related issues. It is the responsibility of the parents to provide the principal a certified copy of the court order affecting any other person's right to their children. Should you have any questions please call: Principal Kathy Brown at 832-375-7500.
Public Information Requests
The Klein Independent School District is required by law to release to anyone who makes a formal request through the Public Information Office, students' names, address, telephone number, date and place of birth, participation in officially recognized activities and sports, weight and height of members of athletic teams, dates of attendance, awards received in school, and most recent and previous school attended. The district frequently receives such requests from salespersons and others, and we must comply unless parents have objected in writing with the release of this information.
