With the end of the 2nd six weeks grading period, we have concluded one of our most important units, the American Revolution, with a Benchmark Common Assesment. This week, we will prepare for the Thanksgiving holiday by taking care of some housekeeping issues: making sure our student profiles, interactive notebooks, and folders are complete and up-to date; completing technology projects and learning.com lessons from the last grading period; wrap-up of the unit with a snapshot of the struggles faced by the young nation following their victory; and preparing for a quiz upon our return covering essential tools the students need for success on the 8th grade Social Studies TAKS test.
I will not be updating my webpage during the Thanksgiving Holiday, but will do so upon our return from the holiday. The first & second 6 weeks technology project directions & samples of each will be placed in my assignments folder on the campus shared drive at that time.
