First Responder's Day |
Theiss students learn about what it takes to be a fire fighter. The firefighters demonstrates to the students the special clothing that they must wear to stay safe and how to exit a burning house. |

Butterfly Garden |
Our wonderful PTO works hard to make our butterfly garden a beautiful place to enjoy! If you have any free time and love to garden, we could use your help. Thanks to Chad Khan, Jamie Berlin and Tammy Ferguson for a great job. The students love going there! |

50th Day of School- Cool Cats Visit Theiss |
Theiss had some special visitors for the 50th day of school. Zero the Hero and Nifty Fifty came to visit the students. They passed out zeros to the children and reminded the students how important place value is when working with numbers. |

Veteran's Day |
Theiss celebrated Veteran's Day and 34 Veterans attended this celebration. Among these heroes, we had a very special veteran that attended, Butch Theiss. Mr. Theiss tipped his hat to the boys and girls who honored him and the other Veterans. During the event, the fifth graders presented a rose for each war, 2nd graders recited the preamble and our Boy Scout troop presented the colors and led the school in the pledge. We appreciate the service that all of the veterans gave for our country! |
