Theiss students learn about what it takes to be a fire fighter. Ms. Bartholomew, a kindergarten teacher, demonstrates to the students the special clothing that a fire fighter must wear to stay safe.

Our wonderful PTO works hard to make our butterfly garden a beautiful place to enjoy! If you have any free time and love to garden, we could use your help. Thanks to Chad Khan, Jamie Berlin and Tammy Ferguson for a great job. The students love going there!

Theiss had some special visitors for the 50th day of school. Zero the Hero and Nifty Fifty came to visit the students. They passed out zeros to the children and reminded the students how important place value is when working with numbers.

Theiss had a very special veteran that came to school on Veteran's Day. Butch Theiss came to celebrate Veteran's Day with the school that is named after his own family. We appreciate the service that all of the veterans gave for our country!
