Mrs. Crannie is currently working on her Masters degree in Science education. Mrs. Crannie is married with 3 children, Danielle, Joshua and Chelsea. She loves spending time with her family, attending sporting events for her children and playing with her puppy Snowball.

Mrs. Crannie has taught sixth grade science at Hildebrandt Intermediate since January 1999. She believes that students learn best from doing experiments, labs, discoveries and other fun science activities. Mrs. Crannie's classroom is connected to a labratory where the students complete real life experiments.

Mrs. Crannie's science classroom has only one rule..."Respect everyone and everything". We all work together and help each other out. Students are encouraged to participate, as well as help others learn. Mrs. Crannie believes that school should be fun and strives to make it happen.

Mrs. Crannie encourages the use of technology in her classroom. Students will use digital cameras, digital microscopes, computers, motion sensors and many more items in their quest for science knowledge.
