Schultz Shining Star Orffestra and Drum Ensemble |
The Schultz Shining Star Orffestra and Drum Ensemble performed at the Texas Music Educators Association state convention this past Friday, February 15, 2008. They were one of only three elementary instrumental groups chosen from the entire state for this honor. Our Schultz Eagles made us proud not only with their outstanding performance but aslo with their excellent social skills during the trip. Many elementary music teachers and midle school band directors were very complimentary to our group after the performance. We received two standing ovations. One director commented that he had never seen elementary students perform such difficult music and that he felt it just doesn't get any better than this! Way to go Orffestra and Drums! We are so proud of you all! |
