Cell Phones in School Zones
The use of cell phones is strictly prohibited in all Klein school zones. This is posted on all Klein school zone speed limit signs. You may be fined up to $200.
Science Lab Shower
The Shower for the Science Lab was a huge success! Thank you for your donations. Take a look at the goodies that were collected. Thanks for helping to enrich the science that we provide to our Schultz Eagles.

We are still in need of the following items:

1st Grade: cornstarch, bubbles.

2nd Grade: Crayola Brand Model Magic, Mrs. Stewart's Bluing, paper sacks, dishwashing liquid soap.

3rd Grade: chalk, flour, plaster of paris, non latex gloves, crisco, baby wipes, pencil sharpeners, crayons.

4th Grade: register tape, yarn, Play-Doh, clay, pipe cleaners, size D batteries, flashlight light bulbs, measuring tape.

5th Grade: size D batteries, flashlight light bulbs, popcorn kernels, pumpkin seeds, laser mailing labels, clay.

Car Pool
If you don't have a car pool number, please come to the office to sign up for one. The car pool lane is for car pool only;if you child is a walker he/she will be dismissed from the back of the school with the walkers.

REMINDER-CAMPUS GROUNDS
Our campus grounds are available to the community when there are no school activities taking place. The campus is not available during school hours. This includes the playground, hard top, and basketball court.
Skateboarding, rollerblading, or scooters are not permitted on school property at any time. Please do not drive cars on the basketball court hardtop. Thank you!



Campus Kids
Campus Kids is an after school child care program run by certified teachers from our school. This gives parents a safe and convenient after school service where the kids can get a snack, get thier homework done and participate in some fun activities. These activitites include games, outdoor play, computer lab, crafts, creative time and gym play. Contact Larry Drown for more information.

Dress Code - KISD handbook
Schultz staff will continue to strictly enforce the KISD dress code as printed in the student handbook.

Please remember:
Shorts, skirts, and dresses MUST be mid-thigh or below.
Tattoos must be covered at all times.
No low cut, see through, backless dress, tank top, may be worn.
Shoulder straps must be sufficiently wide enough to cover undergarments.
No inappropriate slogans, pictures, or suggestive material on clothes.
No scarves or hair style/color that is distracting.
Hair cuts such as mohawks or cut-ins are not permitted.
No bike shorts are allowed to be worn during school unless worn under skirts/dresses.
Appropriate footwear is required. Since the children participate in PE and recess, tennis shoes are preferred. "Flip flops" are not allowed.
Parents will be called and asked to bring a change of clothes if students have dress code infractions. Thank you for your support!
Use of Student Cell Phones On Campus
Possession of cell phones is only allowed if they are turned off at all times and not visible/physically present during regular school hours, including riding the school bus to school or home from school.
If a student is using any cell phone or pager during the school day or on a school bus to and from school, the school employee observing the student's use of the device will confiscate it. The school employee will turn over the device to his or her administrator/supervisor. The parent will be notified by the administrator to pick up the device at his/her school during school hours after the payment of a $15 administrative fee. Cash or money orders are the only acceptable forms of payment.

Calling All Exxon/Mobil Employees and Spouses
If you, or someone you know, works for Exxon/Mobil and volunteers at Schultz, you could help earn a $500 check for Schultz. This also includes the spouse of an Exxon/Mobil employee. Please contact the school for more information. Exxon/Mobil will provide at $500 check for every twenty volunteer hours served.
