District Mission Statement:
The Klein Independent School District, proud of its heritage and embracing the future, develops students to become skillful, active, reflective, self-disciplined, and honorable members of their communities through engaging learning experiences in a safe and nurturing environment.

Schultz Mission Statement
Schultz Elementary works to provide a safe, motivating school environment to promote a variety of teacher-learning experiences for all children. Our goal is to provide a student-centered, teacher-led program that challenges each student to his highest potential. Building the leaders of tomorrow includes character and social skills, as well as academics. We believe the challenge of educating our children is a collaborative one, which must include teachers, administrators, parents, and students in the continual process.
Parent Orientation at Hildebrandt
Hildebrandt Intermediate School will be hosting a parent orientation of elective courses for incoming 6th graders scheduled to attend Hildebrandt Intermediate during the 2010 – 2011 school year.  This will take place on Tuesday, February 16, at 7:00 p.m. in the Hildebrandt Intermediate School cafeteria. Representatives from our electives in Theatre Arts, Orchestra, Choir, Band and Art will give a brief presentation to parents about their programs.  There will also be representatives from each of the core content areas to present valuable information regarding differentiation between Pre- AP and Regular Course requirements. Other topic covered will include dress code and opportunities for involvement in clubs and organizations at Hildebrandt. The purpose of this meeting is to expose you to the course options your student will have as an incoming sixth grader, and to help you and your student make informed decisions for next year.  It is our goal to ensure that the transition from elementary school to intermediate school is smooth, and it begins with course selection. We look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday, February 16, at 7:00 p.m.
