Counselors Information

The counselors are working hard with their grade level students, teachers, and parents to improve student achievement. If your child has test taking anxiety follow these steps:

• Study for test with friends. Friends can help you study and have fun at the same time.
• Write your own tests. Creating your own test can give you clues about what’ll be on the real test.
• Imagine taking the test. Imagining taking the test can help you feel prepared.
• Think positively. Tell yourself things to improve your confidence! “I’m smart, I know this material!”
• Get into a peaceful state of mind. When you take your test, stay calm and in control.
• Know that it’s okay to skip test questions or guess sometimes.
• Realize lots of people worry about tests and they do just fine.
