Welcome back T-Wolves! It is amazing how exciting opening up a new school year can be for our students and staff, no matter how many years we have been do this. Schindewolf opened up this school year with 1500 students. We have implemented some new changes to help address the number of students with a separate 6th grade bell as well as a new area to wait for the opening of school and the students have been cooperating wonderfully.
The counseling office has been planning for our Organization presentation for 6th graders. If your child is having difficulty with organization try the following tips:
• Make sure you have all the supplies you need.
• Color code your supplies for each subject. For example, red book cover for your English book and a red binder with dividers for work notes.
• Use your T-wolf tracker for your assignments. Get a phone number of a friend in each class just in case you forget your assignment.
• Keep study space at home neat, clean, and stocked with supplies.
• Keep your locker and notebooks neat. Clean out after the end of a report card period. File away papers you think may be needed in the future.
• Make a homework folder. Keep all your uncompleted work throughout the day and homework assignment in one folder that you take to every class.
• Get organized before you go to bed.
