Welcome to our classroom! I am really excited about this year and want to introduce myself to you. I went to junior high and high school in Klein ISD and then got my degree from the University of Texas. (Hook Em!) I've been teaching for 22 years. Most of that time was in Fourth grade at Brill and here at Mittelstadt. This will be my seventh year in kindergarten and I absolutely love it! My husband, Kevin, is a District Chief for the City of Houston Fire Department. We have two kids and a very spoiled chocolate lab. Katelyn will be a freshman this year enrolled in the Blinn Team program. She will take classes at both Blinn in Bryan and A&M in College Station. Her Aggie father is quite proud. I'm trying to be supportive even though my blood is burnt orange. Our son, Ryan, will be an eighth grader at Strack. Right now he is a Longhorn fan, so I still have hope.
