It's hard to believe that this year is almost over. We have learned a lot and had a lot of fun. This was a very special class and I will miss them. Thank you, parents, for being so supportive this year and for allowing me to teach your child. I am so proud of their hard work. Their TAKS scores are a result of it. I'm sure they shared the results with you. I hope you have a fun and safe summer. Good luck in 5th grade and keep in touch. I care about each and every one of these kids.
Please practice those Math facts this summer. Check out some Math web sites to practice problem solving, and the four operations.
Our quilt is complete and is hanging in the hallway outside of our classroom. If you haven't seen it yet, please stop by. It is a beautiful quilt and the kids are so proud of it. I hope you like your "mug rug" that they made you. They really enjoyed making you something special. I encourage them to continue with sewing over the summer.
