Mrs. Ann Dristas
I am thrilled to be back at Roth Elementary! My three sons attended Roth while I was teaching early childhood and first grade for ten years at Roth. My administration in training year took place at Roth also. My teaching career has included all grade levels on the elementary level and special education on the elementary and secondary levels. Coming back to Roth is like coming home.

Ms. Gail McGuire
Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas - 1987
Masters of Education in Administration from Sam Houston State University - 2003

I am a native Houstonian and a product of Spring Branch ISD. After graduationg from UT, I began my teaching career in Aldine ISD where I taught grades three through five. After eight years in Aldine, I moved to the Texas Hill Country and taught fifth grade at Bowen Intermediate School in Wimberley. While at Bowen I also sponsored a team of sixth grade "Young Astronaut" students who worked very hard each year to earn a trip to the Houston Museum of Natural Science and the Johnson Space Center. Upon my return to Houston, I again worked in Aldine ISD as a Language Arts Skill Specialist and Test Coordinator at Black Elementary.

I am very excited about joining the Klein ISD family and look forward to serving the Roth community, students, faculty and staff.

I am a native Houstonian and I attended Klein schools and graduated from the Klein High School. When I am not at work I enjoy reading, gardening, tole painting and camping with my family.

This is my 30th year working for Klein ISD, and I have been at Roth since it opened in the 1984 -1985 school year. I like working for the school district because the hours and holidays make it perfect for raising a family. The students, faculty, and parents make Roth such a friendly, supportive place to work that it is easy to love my job. Being the school secretary is a big job. Among my many duties are ordering supplies, relaying messages, typing, filing, and helping the principal, staff, parents, and children in a multitude of ways.

My family and I moved to Spring 11 years ago and we just love it here. Before I came to Roth, I worked at Northampton Elementary in the Developmental Department as an aid. I also worked for a Sprocket Manufacture for 14 years as secretary. With two children attending Klein, working for Klein gave me the opportunity to spend more time with my family. Working as Textbook Secretary here at Roth gave me just that. My job here at Roth Elementary is to make sure all the students and teachers have all the materials they need for teaching and learning. Working in the front office is very rewarding. I enjoy meeting and greeting all the parents and students that come into the front office.
