Our office duties |
As the nurse at Roth Elementary I have many duties:
1. Vision and Hearing screenings every year for the entire student body
2. Keeping records of immunizations on all students
3. Helping students with special medical problems
4. Encouraging good nutrition
5. Providing advice for good hygiene for everyone
6. Caring for sick children and contacting parents
7. Careful supervision of medicines |

Administering medication to students |
1. Parent must provide a written request.
2. Medication must be in its original container.
3. Prescription medication must be accompanied by a written statement from a physician or dentist.
4. Medication will be kept in the clinic.
5. Medication will be administered by the nursing staff or a school employee.
6. Please refer to page 25 in the Student Handbook for complete information on medication.
