I am a veteran teacher in the Business, Career & Technology Department with experience teaching computer applications courses as well as adigital imaging, desktop publishing, web design, and Visual Basic programming classes.

My main goal in teaching software would be that students are skilled in each of the particular applications used so that they could handle beginning and some intermediate level business tasks independently. It is also my goal that students could utilize basic software resources to further their skills on their own.

Our Business Computer Information Systems classes will focus primarily on the development of the beginning and intermediate level skills necessary for utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite programs. That would consist of MS WORD, MS EXCEL, MS POWERPOINT, MS ACCESS, and MS PUBLISHER programs.
