Time Machine & PSA Assignments |
As the year winds down, students have been asked to show what they know in two forms.
First: students need to create a historically correct, fiction story about travel in a time capsule. All students received hand copies of items that are also listed on my wiki page.
The 2nd project is a public service announcement to show the research, and proof of two sides of an issue. The culminating product will be a paper, a storyboard and a movie from 3-5 min. presentation with music and /or narration.
This should be accomplished before Monday's class on 3-13-13
Rough draft
1. Introduction (3-4 sentences)
• Where are you
• What's going on
• How and where do you discover time machine
• What does it look like
• What happens?
2. First Time period (100 words)
• Where are you
• What's going on
• What do you see, who do you see
• Must have facts
• Example: If you’re in the American Revolution, maybe you are witnessing Thomas Jefferson writing the Declaration of Independence, maybe you’re on a famous battle field.
**THINK ABOUT HOW YOU’RE GOING TO TRANSITION TO THE NEXT TIME PERIOD AT THE END.
