We are currently working on recognizing solid shapes such as sphere, pyramid, cylinder, cube, cone, and rectangular prism. We are also learning about parts of a whole. Students should be able to count to 100.

We are getting ready to learn about traditions relating to Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day. With President's Day coming up, we will also be learning interesting facts about many of our presidents. In addition, since February is Black History Month we will be learning about important historical figures and how they helped shape our country. Students will review Martin Luther King Jr. and learn about Rosa Parks and Ruby Bridges and their contributions.

We are studying about animals and their habitats.
