Klein ISD has implemented the following check in procedures:
1. When a visitor comes to the front office, the individual must produce a Texas driver's license. The license will be scanned using the V-soft system, and a visitor's badge will be printed. Visitors will not be permitted in the building without a badge.
2. Registration cards will be checked for verification that the person is permitted to have contact with the child.
3. Visitors must sign in and out on the visitor's sheet.
4. Only parents may eat lunch with a child.

El Distrito de Klein ISD ha implementado el siguiente procedimiento:
1. Cuando un visitante llega a la oficina de una escuela, el individuo debe presentar su identificación personal del estado de Tejas. La identificación sera escaneada usando el sistema V-soft , y una identificación con foto sera imprimida para que se la coloque. No se van a permitir visitantes en las escuelas sin esta identificación.
2. Las tarjetas de registro van a ser revisadas para verificar que el visitante tenga permiso para ver al estudiante.
3. Los visitantes deben firmar una hoja de entrada y salida cuando llegan a la escuela.
4. Solo los Padres de Familia podrán almorzar con los estudiantes.

Transportation Changes & Early Dismissals
Please send a note to the homeroom teacher or you can call the Nitsch front office at 832-484-6400 if you need to change your child's transportation.

When you check your child out early, please allow time for us to verify your identification and to get the child from his or her classroom. A note to the teacher will help the early dismissal process. No one may pick up a child if they are not listed on the child's registration card. They must have a driver's license or other picture identification. These procedures are for the safety and protection of your child. Thank you for your cooperation.

Si su hijo/a va a tener que salir mas temprano de la escuela o si va a cambiar el tipo de transporte que usa habitualmente, favor de mandar una nota a su maestro o llamar a la escuela Nitsch al 832-484-6400. Cuando vayan a sacar a su hijo/a mas temprano, por favor denos tiempo para verificar la salida y traer a su hijo/a de su clase. Una nota al maestro ayudará mucho con el proceso. Ninguna persona que no esté registrada en la forma de registro podrá llevarse al estudiante. La persona deberá presentar su identificación personal. SPIRIT DAY (FRIDAYS ONLY)
• SCHOOL SPIRIT T-SHIRT and BLUE JEANS may be worn on Friday with shirt tucked in and belted. Jeans MUST be blue. Jeans in colors other than blue or with embroidery or decorative stitching are NOT permitted.

SHOES of any style/color may be worn except those with rollers/wheels on them. Shoes should be suitable for activity at P.E. and recess. Shower type flip-flops and slipper style sandals may not be worn.
COATS of any style/color may be worn TO AND FROM SCHOOL and must be placed in a closet. If your child needs to wear a sweater during the day at school, it MUST be a blue Nitsch sweatshirt, a plain blue button up sweater, or a plain blue sweatshirt (no zippers, pockets or hoods). The sweatshirts will be for sale at Nitsch Elementary School at the beginning of the year. Sweatshirts may not be worn around the waist at any time.
NECKLACES/chains may be worn as long as they do not pass the plane of the armpit. Large/ornate charms, nametags, medallions, etc. may not be worn. No student will wear exposed rings, studs, or other jewelry associated with body piercing. Students may, however, wear earrings or ear studs that are not larger than a quarter.

Students will not be permitted to attend classes wearing inappropriate clothing. As fashions change and issues arise the administration reserves the right to amend the dress code.


Please try to PLAN AHEAD so that your child(ren) will have properly fitting clothes to wear the entire year.

Uniforme estándar de la Escuela Elemental Nitsch
2008-2009

Por mayoría de votos de los padres de familia la Escuela Elemental Nitsch adoptó la política de uniforme estándar para todos los estudiantes. Nuestras reglas para vestir son:

Las camisas deben de ser:
• de colores sólidos, rojo, blanco o azul (claro u oscuro)
• estilo polo o camisa de vestir blanca con botones y cuello (manga larga o corta)
• usadas dentro del pantalón o la falda
• Los viernes se puede usar la camiseta de la escuela con pantalones del uniforme
• Las prendas que se usen debajo del uniforme, y se vean, deben ser de color sólido – rojo, blanco o azul (oscuro o claro)

Las camisas NO deben de:
• tener ningún rótulo, logotipo o diseño en ninguna parte
• tener bordados, costuras decorativas o insertos de colores

Pantalones o faldas deben de ser:
• pantalones o pantalones cortos (por lo menos a la mitad del muslo) para los niños
• pantalones o pantalones cortos (por lo menos a la mitad del muslo) para las niñas
• azul marino o caqui
• hechos principalmente de algodón

Los pantalones o faldas NO deben de ser
• de color o estilo de mezclilla
• tejidos, stretch, con espandex o de nylon
• estilo deportivo como sudaderas, pantalones para hacer ejercicio o rompevientos
• demasiado sueltos o anchos
• con alguna etiqueta, logotipo o diseño en ninguna parte
• con algún bordado, costura decorativa, insertos de colores
• de campana o a la cadera

Los Cinturones deberán:
• SER USADOS TODO EL TIEMPO
• SER DE COLOR café o negro sólido
• Tener el tipo de EVILLA NORMAL

Los Cinturones no deberán:
• ser DECORATIVOS
• tener UNA HEBILLA DECORATIVA (Ex: Hebillas con su nombre inscrito)
• No se podrá usar listones, pañuelos o cualquier tipo de pita/soga de ninguna clase como cinturón

Día De Espíritu Escolar (Viernes)
Los Viernes se podrá usar la Camiseta de Espiritu de la escuela y pantalón de mezclilla de color azul siempre que la camiseta vaya por dentro y con cinturón. Los pantalones de mezclilla de cualquier otro color que no sea azul y que tengan bordados o decoraciones no serán permitidos.

Se pueden usar zapatos de cualquier estilo o color, excepto si tienen ruedas. Los zapatos deben de ser apropiados para las actividades de educación física y recreo. Sandalias del estilo de baño o flip flops no podrán usarse para la escuela.
Chamarras o Abrigos de cualquier clase se podrán usar a LLEGAR y SALIR de la escuela SOLAMENTE y deberán permanecer en el closet el resto del tiempo. Si su hijo necesita usar una chamarra durante el día en la escuela, TIENE que ser el suéter de la escuela Elemental Nitsch, solo mente una suéter azul con botón sin capucha, o una chamarra estilo buzo de color azul sólido (no se permitirán sudaderas con cierres, bolsillos o gorros). Las sudaderas estarán a la venta en la escuela Elemental Nitsch al comienzo del año escolar. No se permitirá el uso de las sudaderas alrededor de la cintura en ningún momento.
Cadenas y collares se pueden usar siempre que no pasen de la altura del antebrazo. Dijes grandes, nombres, o medallones no serán permitidos. Ningún estudiante podrá usar cualquier tipo de aros que esté expuesto o que sea visible. Los estudiantes si podrán usar aretes en las orejas los que no sean más grandes, que una moneda de $.25.

No se permitirán alumnos en las aulas de clase que no estén vestidos apropiadamente. Como las modas cambian, la administración está en el derecho de hacer alteraciones a este código de vestir en cualquier momento si fuera necesario.
