MUELLER ELEMENTARY IS A TEXAS EXEMPLARY SCHOOL
G/T (Gifted/Talented) Referrals
The Office of Advanced Academics has adopted a district-wide testing timeline this year. If you would like to refer your child for Klein’s Gifted and Talented Program, please stop by the campus and pick up a referral packet from the counselor. The deadline for returning the packet is September 24, 2010. If you have questions about referring your child for G/T, Cynthia Galindo, Instructional Officer for Advanced Academics, will be presenting a parent workshop called “Should I Refer My Child?” in early September. Please check the Advanced Academics web site for location and time. CLICK HERE

Ability testing will take place in the fall and achievement testing, if necessary, will be in the spring semester. All kindergarten students are given an ability test in the fall, so it is not necessary to refer your kindergartener at this time.
