Dear Parents,
I would like to welcome you and your child to science at Klein Oak High School. This is my fifth year teaching at Klein Oak and I am excited to start a new year with your child.
Students will be involved in labs and inquiry-based learning. We will keep a science notebook throughout the year that will serve as a learning tool and study aid. Notebooks will be collected at least once per grading period and counted as a major grade. It is important that students come prepared to class each day with their notebook and textbook.
The course syllabus and safety contract are on the web site. Students are expected to return the signed safety contract before they can participate in a lab.
