TAKS Reading Practice - A Continuing Role! |
We are continuing lots TAKS Reading selections with skills such as Drawing Conclusions, Making Inferences, Finding Main Idea, and Locating Supporting Details.
Believe it or not, most students have difficulty finding the main idea of a passage! Work with your child on finding the main idea of one paragraph at a time; then, s/he will be able to transfer that skill to longer passages. |
