Bonjour, parents!
Hurricane Ike was definitely a trial for all of us; our classes kept a running chart on who had received power/those still suffering! Its timing could not have been worse re: Progress Reports, book distribution, curriculum, etc. So now we are nearly halfway through the second six weeks and finally checking out the French textbooks.
However, I need to inform you that students will be carrying their text back and forth from home to school on a daily basis. I no longer have a classroom set for their use. They will have to remember to carry it every day.
Also, you will want to monitor your student's notebook dictionary contents. I gave them a cover page and require them to update it on a regular basis. This is critical for test study.
As always, you may email me whenever you have questions, etc. I can answer emails faster than I can return phone calls; my conference is first period but I rarely have the free time to return any calls. Then, the rest of the day is straight classes. I can try to return calls at 4:00 PM.
Au revoir et Tout va bien! |
