Welcome to Third Grade!
Our third graders are becoming responsible independent learners who are learning how to set and achieve individual academic and behavioral goals. The students are developing and working on many skills that promote good character through a program called Inch and Miles. So far, we have covered three bricks on the character pyramid: Hard Work, Enthusiasm, and Friendship. Please take the opportunity to discuss these 3 character traits with your student. We continue to encourage our students to be responsible in completing homework, reading 20 minutes a night along with learning their math facts in addition, subtraction, and multiplication. As parents you can assist your child in these tasks by checking your child's homework sheet or agenda daily. We look forward to the 2nd nine weeks with our third graders, learning with enthusiasm and hard work to achieve our Patriot goals!
