Mix it Up Day Feb. 6, 2008 |

We were very excited to bring the first ever “Mix-It-Up” Day to Mittelstädt Elementary! Activities were planned which encouraged students and staff to celebrate the awesome diversity we have at our school and in our community. Our goal is to reinforce that Mittelstädt is a place where prejudice and hatred are rejected and differences are accepted and celebrated. Activities included a “Patriots for Peace” quilt created by our students and is displayed in the front hallway, a “Mix-it-up” at lunch where students sat with new friends, and students and faculty signed a RESOLUTION OF RESPECT. |

Mittelstadt was bubbling with excitement Thursday evening, October 18th!
Our "STARS" were shining "BRIGHTLY" the night of the Science Extravaganza! The entire staff of Mittelstädt is SO proud of each and every student who discovered how fun science can be!! We were all amazed at how wonderful the presentations were, and each student here that night had fun learning something new and sharing it with their friends and family.
A very special "THANK YOU" goes to all of the staff who attended and even stayed late to help in every way possible.
MANY THANKS also to the Crichton family for donating the teacher presentation boards and to all of the "friends of Mittelstädt" who have taken a light bulb and filled our science lab with supplies to make each teacher's daunting task a little easier. The support and generosity that our community bestows upon Mittelstädt is incredible!
