Welcome to our Mittelstädt Elementary Family!
Mittelstädt Elementary School is committed to the belief that all students can learn to the best of their abilities. Administrators, teachers, parents, and students work cooperatively to promote this learning.

In this supportive environment, Mittelstädt teachers use a variety of teaching approaches, monitoring and measuring techniques, classroom management and motivational strategies.

Ultimately, our goal is to have each student become a productive and responsible member of our society.

Congratulations Kasie Kline!
Mittelstädt's latest teacher of the year!
Miss Kline has been teaching for a total of 8 years, all right here at Mittelstadt. But, she has been a "Klein girl" for many years. She went to elementary school at Brill and even had Mrs. Levy as her 4th grade teacher. She went to Kleb and then graduated from Klein High School. After graduating from Vanderbilt University, she knew she wanted to come back here and teach for Mrs. Levy. Ms. Kline loves working with kids. One of her favorite activities is coaching her DI teams. She keeps in touch with many of her students and loves for them to come back to tell her all about their successes. She also loves watching them participate in all of their many activities. Ms. Kline has wanted to be a teacher for a long time, and she is so happy that she gets to do what she loves every day.

On Friday, May 16, we will celebrate DIVERSITY ROCKS! Day at Mittelstädt.
This day will be a celebration of the varied cultures of Mittelstädt students and their families. Students will be participating in various classroom activities designed to promote acceptance of all cultures. As part of the day’s activities, we are inviting parents to create and set up displays that tell students about countries that are part of their family’s heritage. Families can use this opportunity to showcase their cultural pride, and our students will be able to see first-hand the many cultures that make up our population. (For information on presenting, please contact our counselor, Sherri Treadway at 832.484.6706.) The culminating activity of the day will be a school-wide assembly. At this time, a representative from the Anti Defamation League will present Mittelstädt with a banner proclaiming that we are a “No Place for Hate” campus.
