Welcome! I teach sixth grade beginning Art. This is my second year at wonderful Wunderlich!
I have B.F.A. with honors from University of Texas at Austin. I was awarded a painting scholarship in 1997 from University of Houston's Painting Faculty and nominated for the International Sculpture's Center award by University of Texas Sculpture Faculty in 2000. I have been a selected artist for numerous juried exhibitions in Houston and Austin including: Blanton Museum, Blaffer Gallery and Museum of Printing History.
We are exited to have your student in our program this year and desire them to have an enjoyable experience in Art. Activities are fun and easy while at the same time students learn the elements and principles of Art and Art History. Activities include: drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics and weaving.
All work is done in class. I do not give homework. There are three major and three minor grades (minimum) per six weeks.
