Metzler Summer Recreational Literacy Program
Texas Reading Club Jubilee: 1958-2008

The Metzler Library will be open from June 17 through July 22 for students whose parents or guardians reside in Klein ISD. Mrs. Darling will be the librarian and Mrs. Herbst will be the assistant for Summer Library.

Special events will be offered in addition to book checkout to support literacy through summer reading.

When using the library for the summer, students follow the same Klein ISD rules of conduct and dress that apply during the regular school year. Food, pets and swimming attire will not be allowed.

Parents and guardians must sign an Acceptable Use Policy form to be filed at each library used if their children did not attend Klein ISD schools during the regular school year and are not permitted to access Internet-filtered resources.

Address verification is required of Klein ISD residents whose children attend home or private schools. (A lease agreement, electric, water, or natural gas bill may be used.)
