  • No Place For Hate®
    Metzler Elementary School will participate this year in the Anti-Defamation League’s campaign known as No Place For Hate®. As part of this campaign, Metzler students will participate in activities that promote tolerance and understanding of the differences that exists between us. We will learn how to show respect for different races, religions, and cultures. Our motto at Metzler is Working Together as a Team, and as a team we will strive to achieve progress in promoting our school as No Place For Hate®.

    Metzler's Teacher of the Year
    Congratulations to Mrs. Karen Wideman on her nomination and subsequent campus win as Metzler’s Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Wideman currently teachers 3rd grade; she taught 5th grade for the past two years. She continuously searches for creative and innovative ways to instruct her students. In addition, she is an exemplary role model for all educators.

    The mission of Metzler Elementary School is to develop successful life-long learners and responsible, productive citizens through a team effort between the school, the parents, and the community in a positive and caring learning environment.

    Students, parents, caring adults, and all staff are committed to hard work and high expectations in a climate of respect and cooperation.

    The spirit of determination, fidelity, and cooperation is exemplified by Metzler's school mascot. Through our mascot, the students will be inspired to identify their challenges, harness their power, and achieve their goals.
