Klenk's Mission Statement
Klenk Elementary School will strive to build a community of learners that promotes active student learnng and success, as teachers, staff, students, and parents celebrate our cultural diversity in a safe, secure environment.

I am excited about this year. I have teaching for 27 years, 23 in first grade. I love first graders.

I have Bachelor of Science degree in education, and a Masters degree in Administration and Supervision. I hold a supervisory certificate and an ESL certficate. In 1999 I was named the Klein District Elementary Teacher of the Year, as well as the Klenk Teacher of the Year.

First graders are my passion. I love to watch them grow into readers, mathematians, scientists, artists, computer whizzes and good citizens. There is so much to explore and discover. Through an interactive and manipulative approach to the curriculum, I hope to provide your child with an exciting first grade year.
