Here is the 2006 TAKS test link. Go to the link. Your child can actually do the test online, and it will score it for them.

Math
Have them practicing one to two problems a night. If they do not get the answer correct, have them go back and redo the problem completely over again. If they still come back with an incorrect answer, ask them what they are trying to find. Then go over the problem with them step by step. After you are finished, give them a very similiar problem, but change the numbers.
Reading
Have students practice this test as well. They should be practicing one to two stories a week. They are to highlight in the story where they got their answer from. |
