Students will need the following supplies in class.

* a binder with a divider for language arts
* composition book with at least 100 pages
* 1-subject spiral
* pens (dark ink is best for readability)
* pencils & erasers
* colored pencils
* box of kleenex

Major Grades count 60% of the grade and may include tests, compositions, and projects.

Daily grades count 30% of the grade and may include writing, reading, literature, language, spelling, listening, and speaking.

Homework grades count 10% of the grade and might include weekly paragraph, spelling lists, and other practice.

Students must complete all work even if it is late. 10 points will be deducted each late day up to 30 points.

I will stay in contact with parents until the work is turned in.

Language arts testing days are Monday and Thursday.

If a student misses a test, he or she should arrange a make up time within a week from the date of absence.
