When registering your child you will need to bring:

An official copy of your child's birth certificate (hospital certificates will not be accepted)

Complete immunization health record signed by a physician

Proof of residence in the Klein Independent School District, a lease agreement, tax records, light, water, or gas bill with your name and address is acceptable.

Social Security Card

Complete registration packet provided by school

Klein I.S.D offers a prekindergarten class for eligible students. Students at Lemm attend class from 8:15 A.M. to 11:05 A.M..
To be eligible for prekindergarten a child must have reached the legal age of 4 years on or before September 1 of the current year.

The child must also meet one or both of the following criteria:

Limited English Language - to enroll as Limited English Language Proficient, the child must be present and administered a test to establish if he/she can speak and comprehend the English Language.

Limited Income - Parents/guardians wishing to enroll their children based upon family income must bring a completed copy of their most recent income tax form.

Parents/guardians seeking additional information or clarification to determine qualification for the prekindergarten program should feel free to call the school their child will attend .

If a child is eligible for prekindergarten, parents will need to do the following:

· Furnish the school with a certified copy of the child's birth certificate.
· Furnish the school with a current immunization record.
· Furnish the school with proof of residence in Klein I.S.D. A lease agreement, tax record, light, water, or gas bill with your name and address is acceptable. Telephone bills cannot be accepted.
· Social Security card if available.
