November 9-13:
This week our theme is the "Five Senses."
We will be playing "What's missing?" using our sense of sight, "What's in the mystery box?" using our sense of touch, identifying smells, tasting sour, sweet, and salty, and identifying different sounds. In Super Centers, we are making "Brown Bear, Brown Bear" story retelling neclaces. Continue working on rhyming and beginniing sounds /a/, /s/, /m/, /g/, and /h/.
November 16-20:
This week our theme is "Thanksgiving." Students are coloring a Thanksgiving color word booklet, writing a Thanksgiving grocery list making a Thanksgiving neclace to retell the story of Thnksgiving,and writing and drawing what they are thankful for. We are sorting and clapping sylllables of various fruits and vegetables. We are making 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional shapes. Continue working on beginning souds /a/, /h/, /m/, /s/, /g/ and rhyming words.
