Author and illustrator Jarrett Krosoczka rocked our Kuehnle students on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009! Students
were very exicited to listen to the author of the Lunch Lady series,
which is always checked out.
He challenged students to follow their dreams as he showed them how he became a published author/illustrator through hard work, education, and perseverance.
He reminded our students that since they have written stories before, they are all authors and urged them to continue writing.

On May 20th, 2008, all Gold Medal Winners in Grades 3-5 celebrated with a pizza party in the art room.
Each winner received a book from the 2008-2009 Bluebonnet Nominee List.
