Students across Texas that read or hear at least five of the current Bluebonnet Award Nominees are invited to vote for their favorite book to receive the Texas Bluebonnet Award at the end of January.
For every five books read (Bluebonnet books or Genre books), students will show me their reading form and receive a foam bookmark the first five books and a western foam sticker for every additional five books. Once the reading program is over, students will be given their bookmark to keep.
At the end of the school year, students will also be awarded medals for outstanding reading. All reading must be completed and turned in on or before the due date, Friday, April 9, 2010. |
