Music is a fun and exciting subject at Kuehnle. We believe music is an important part of the lives of all people and cultures. We believe that a major value of music is in the positive self-image that results from many different ways of being involved with music.

We believe that music can embrace, enhance, and support all other subject areas and still maintain its own integrity as that special intelligence we call music.
We believe that exploring music and being successful with music can have a profound effect on every student.
We believe that a degree of success in music is attainable for every student.
We believe that music speaks to every person in unique ways, emotionally, and intellectually.
Kuehnle offers many musical opportunities for the students:
Choir-4th and 5th graders meet each Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 7:30 a.m.
Strings-5th graders practice each Wednesday and Friday, 3:15-4:00 p.m.
Chime Bells-4th and 5th graders meet each Monday, 7:30 a.m.
Recorder Ensemble/S.A.T.B.-4th and 5th graders meet each Thursday from 3:15 - 4:00 p.m.
Orff Instrumentalists - 4th and 5th graders every Friday 7:30 a.m.
