    GENERAL INFORMATION:
    All KISD intermediate level core classes offered for credit are for CREDIT RECOVERY ONLY. Students may take a maximum of three different courses for credit recovery over the two summer sessions.
    TAKS Remediation Courses - A student who enrolls in the summer Reading or Mathematics TAKS Course and demonstrates proficiency on an end-of-session assessment may earn back his/her elective for the following year. Adequate progress on benchmark testing in the Fall 2008 must be maintained. TAKS Remediation is not a credit recovery course. Tuition of $180.00 applies.
    STUDENT SUCCESS INITIATIVE (SSI): Required for 8th grade students who did not pass the first or second administration of Reading or Math TAKS. Tuition free for SSI students.
    TUITION: Per Course - $180.00 in-district, $320.00 out-of-district. Cash, Cashier's Check or Money Order only. No personal checks will be accepted.

    REGISTRATION: May 30 - June 5 and June 9. Students must register at their home campus. Registration at home campus ends at 2:30p.m. June 9.

    June 16 - July 2 (SSI Reading)
    June 16 - July 3 ( Students with TAKS Bundled Accommodations)

    HOURS:
    Section 1: 8:30am - 12:00p.m.
    Section 2: 12:30p.m. - 4:00p.m.

    Late registration is at Krimmel Intermediate School. No registrations will be accepted on the first day of class. Late registrations will be taken in order of arrival, available space only.
    June 10, 8:00a.m.-11:30a.m. and 1:00p.m.-2:30p.m.
    June 11, 8:00a.m.-11:30a.m.
    FINAL REGISTRATION: Session 2
    July 2, 8:00a.m. - 11:30a.m. Krimmel Intermediate School Available Space Only

    PTO Board Positions: President, Vice President, 2nd Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Parliamentarian, Volunteer Coordinator, Hospitality Coordinator. Committee Chairs will work closely with a board member to coordinate the following: Family Night/Silent Auction, Dance, Memory Book, 8th Grade Party, Communication with parents, and Membership/Directories.
    Community Service Problem Solvers
    Community Service Problem Solvers traveled to Austin to receive the Director's Choice Award for the U-Knight Project.
