The Kreinhop Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)is a non-profit organization made up of parents, friends,teachers and administrators of Kreinhop Elementary School working in cooperative partnership to create a positive, enthusiastic learning environment for the students of Kreinhop Elementary.
Membership: Membership Dues are $7.00 per family.

5th Grade parent volunteers are still needed for the planning of the Celebration scheduled for May 30, 2008 and the Memory Book. Please contact Lisa Beasley (lisa@thebeasleybunch.com or 281.528.0715), 5th Grade Coordinator, if you are willing to help.

We need a lot of parents to volunteer so that our kids can enjoy the many wonderful activities available at Kreinhop Elementary. Whether you can give 30 minutes in the building volunteering instead of sitting in a hot car in the carpool line, a couple of hours, or even an entire day, your help is needed and would be greatly appreciated by the teachers and staff at Kreinhop. Please contact the volunteer coordinator today to sign up.

Playground equipment, teacher wish list supplies, cultural arts programs, student appreciation, Winter and Spring class parties and much, much more.


Fundraising: Why do we do it??
The district does not give funding for all the needs of every school and this allows PTO to support the specific needs of our campus and staff.

We have lots of ongoing fundraisers:
Box Tops for Education, Kroger, Tyson Foods, Campbell Soup Labels, Cartridges for Fids, and Pennies for playground.

Contest runs from April 25 - May 15. The class who COLLECTS the most $$$$ will have a lunchtime pizza party.

We have started a fundraiser called, "Pennies for Our Playground". We are asking that you contribue any spare pocket change (i.e. pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters) you have, so we can raise money for our children's playground equipment. Please, bring in your pocket change and put it in the water jug located in the front office. This is a project that will be spread throughout the year, so bring change in at anytime. This is only the beginning in our efforts to raise money for our new playground. Thank you so much for your support and patience.

KEEP COLLECTING BOX TOPS THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER!!!!

You can turn in you labels any time by putting them in an envelope with your child’s name and teacher on them.
· Clip box tops and save them for our school.
· By going to the Box Top for Education web site you can shop at over 200 stores. General Mills will donate up to 8% of your purchases to Kreinhop Box Top account.
· You can also get FREE coupons for General Mills products. Log on at: www.boxtops4education.com and register.

When shopping at Kroger, please remember to use your Kroger Share Card. Kroger will donate 1% back on every purchase.

We have surpassed our 2000 goal for the year. Way to go Kreinhop!

Tyson Foods will donate 24 cents per label to our school!! This is a great deal! Look for the Tyson Project A+ label. Cut out the section that says “Support Your School! Keep these labels in an envelope together to turn in your child’s class room with your child’s name and teacher written on it.
Please save your Campbell Soup labels’ UPC codes and V8 drink lids! Campbell’s Soup will donate supplies to our school for your efforts. Please note Campbells no longer accepts just labels…collect UPC codes and lids.

We can do our part. Help Kreinhop Elementary get cash back for Cartridges for Kids Recycling Program. There is a white box in the front hall way of the school. You may drop off your used cartridges, game consoles, games, handheld games, digital cameras, cell phones, laptops and PDAs and PTO will turn them in for money back to Kreinhop Elementary.
