Give yourself every advantage to be successful in school and in life! Break your fast (breakfast!) every morning.
The word "fast" means a high rate of speed. It also means a prolonged period where you have little or nothing to eat. Your body hasn’t had nourishment in 12 hours, or since supper. If you skip breakfast, your fast will last about 17 hours.
You may have a headache, stomachache, and irritability. In other words, you won’t feel good and you will be grouchy! Your brain and body need food for top performance.
If you don’t like traditional breakfast food, that’s OK. Talk to your parent about healthy foods you would enjoy eating in the morning.
Take very good care of your wonderful body, and break your fast every morning!
