A Smile is a curve that can set a lot of things straight.
Smile. You have now entered the smile zone at Krahn Elementary better known as Mrs. Davis' Office. This is the 11th year I have been the counselor at Krahn. I am in charge of the attitude and atmosphere of the school. Smiley Face is my symbol and the children bring me lots of examples. We have Cardinal Crews which operate at Krahn. The Crews provide a way for children in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grades to volunteer their time and talents to keep us running. There are Birthday Buddies, Trash Troop and Attitude Adjusters to name a few. I also enjoy doing lessons in the classroom on such topics as friendship, goal setting and getting along. This year my emphasis is on Conflict Resolution. We will discuss how to recognize and solve problems while staying cool and keeping our friends. Next year we will be discussing Character. I really enjoy my job and the children at Krahn.
