On Monday we kicked off our Red Ribbon Week celebration. Our principal, Ms. Simi, introduced the activities.
Boy Scouts, Chase and Hunter, led us in the pledge.
Fifth grade students sang The Dare Song.
The Klenk Kids With Character said our Drug Free Pledge...
and then released red balloons!
We watched them soar into the air. They reminded us of our promises to stay drug free.
Finally, The Klenk Kids With Character tied red ribbons around the trees.
We enjoyed all the activities.
The class in each grade level that wore the most red won an ice cream party.
Klenk teachers and staff wore their best red outfits!
Some teachers went crazy with red!
