Falcon Bureau of Intelligence
FBI Sponsors:
Ms. Frazier and Ms. Hatchett

Mission
Our students deserve every chance to live life and embark on new experiences that can impact their lives forever. The purpose of the F. B. I. is to give our students that opportunity while building character, integrity, and respect. Our goal is to increase self-confidence, making them strong citizens in the school environment as well as in the community.

Program Objective
The Falcon Bureau of Intelligence is aligned with our mission of producing responsible citizens. Ninety students will be chosen, 30 from each grade level, to be apart of the after school program based on their conduct as well as their grades. These students will be exposed to several powerful character education classes as well as different guest speakers from different corporate backgrounds. Throughout the program the students will be exposed to several places outside of their community. We feel that it is important for our students to see what life is like outside of the community that they see on a daily basis, as some of our students have never had a chance to be exposed to these places. Students will also have a banquet at the end of the year where they will be given an opportunity to display several of the talents that they have developed through our character education classes.

National Junior Honor Society
NJHS Sponsors:
Ms. Duffy and Ms. Broussard

The purpose of National Junior Honor Society is to create an enthusiasm for superior scholarship; to develop citizenship; to stimulate a desire to serve; to promote leadership; and to instill exemplary qualities of character. Students who are invited to join our organization are expected to demonstrate traits that exemplify this purpose. Students must have a cumulative average of 90 and are considered for membership in the spring semester of seventh grade. Some of the service projects National Junior Honor Society members participate in include operating the school store, partnering with Student Council members to collect food and donations for our Thanksgiving Food Drive, helping with the after school tutoring program, and holding a Christmas Carnation sale to raise money for local homeless shelters.

Student Council
Student Council Sponsors:
Ms. Sampson

Student Council is a service organization that helps our teachers, school, neighborhood and community. We have two major fundraisers each year. We sell concessions at all home athletic events and we sell carnations on Valentine's Day.

In the past, we have given cash donations to such organizations as Red Cross, the Salvation Army, the Star of Good Hope Mission, SPCA, and Make-a-Wish-Foundation.

Each year with the National Junior Honor Society, we conduct a food drive at Thanksgiving to donate to the St. Matthew's Food Bank. We also have a "New Toy Drive" before Christmas to donate to NHAM for their Christmas baskets.

Mission
The Klein Independent School District is pleased to offer an enrichment program designed to increase creative problem solving for all 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. The members of each team will meet once a week. Mr. Connelly's group of 8th graders will meet Monday's after school from 4:10-5:10 and will need to provide their own transportation home. Mrs. Gilder's group of 6th & 7th graders will meet Wednesday mornings from 8:10-8:50. Our district competition will be held February 23, 2008 at Klein Collins High School.
