School begins in the Klein ISD on August 25. The district has set the following enrollment dates and times for new students: grades K-5 (August 6-22, 8:00- 11:30 a.m. and 1:00-3:00 p.m.); grades 6-8 (August 4- 22, 8:00-11:30 p.m. and 1:00-3:00 p.m.); grades 9-12 (July 31-August 22, 7:30-11:00 a.m. and 12:30-2:30 p.m.). For grades 9-12, call the appropriate high school for an appointment with a guidance counselor who will assist with enrollment.
Forms and a checklist to assist in the registration process can be found at
www.kleinisd.net. Click the "New Students" link on the menu found on the left side of the home page. Click "Registration Information" to find information about enrolling a new student. Below the paragraph of explanation, click on "Elementary (PK-5)" or "Secondary (6-12)" to find the forms and checklist that can be completed before visiting the school for the registration process. Information about orientation for students can be found on the scrolling bar on the home page.
Students who were enrolled in the Klein ISD during the 2007-2008 school year are automatically enrolled for the 2008-2009 school year.
