2009-2010 Testing Dates |
Please make every effort to avoid scheduling appointments on these dates.
March 3, 2010: Grade 7 Writing
April 6, 2010: Grade 8 Math
April 7, 2010: Grade 8 Reading
April 27, 2010: Grades 6-7 Mathematics
April 28, 2010: Grades 6-7 Reading
April 29, 2010: Grade 8 Science
April 30, 2010: Grade 8 Social Studies
May 18, 2010: Grade 8 Math retest, if needed
May 19, 2010: Grade 8 Reading retest, if needed
8th grade students must pass the Reading and Math TAKS tests to be promoted to the 9th grade. If you have any questions about the new state requirements for grade advancement, please follow this link to the Texas Education Agency's Student Assessment webpage. |

Fall Semester Finals |
Fall semester final examinations for high school credit courses will be held on the following dates:
Thursday, January 7 - Keyboarding, Art I
Friday, January 8 - Keyboarding, Desktop Publishing
Monday, January 11 - Career Connections, Communications Applications
Tuesday, January 12 - Communications Applications, Algebra
Wednesday, January 13 - Algebra, Health
Thursday, January 14 - Health
Final exams cannot be taken early. A medical note is required for make up. |

Weekly Tests 2009-2010 |
In order to prevent students from having every test on the same day, the following testing schedule has been established. This does not apply to daily quizzes or "pop" quizzes.
Monday: all courses and subjects not otherwise listed/social studies
Tuesday: mathematics/English
Wednesday: science/all courses and subjects not otherwise listed
Thursday: social studies/mathematics
Friday: English/science |
