Locks, Lockers and Textbooks |
This year, students will be issued a textbook to take home for the year in their Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies classes. Since they will be using class sets of those texts at school, they should keep those books at home for use on work out of class. Textbooks are becoming very expensive (over $50.00 each for replacement) so please take care of your books. You will return them to your teachers at the end of the year.
Lockers will be assigned on the first day of school. Students are strongly encouraged to purchase a school lock to keep on their lockers to protect their belongings. Do not share your locker or lock combination with anyone.
Locks must be purchased from the school. You may use a lock you have purchased from the school in a previous year, as long as you still have the combination. Locks from other sources will be removed. |

Arriving Late/Leaving Early |
Should your child need to arrive late or leave campus early, he or she must sign in or out at the attendance office.
Should you need to check your child out early, please send a note that morning and plan to meet your child in the attendance office. Students will not be allowed to leave campus without an adult. Please be prepared to produce picture I.D. and wait while we check our records. More information can be obtained by calling the attendance secretary at 832-249-5495. |

IRIS |
IRIS is a program used by Klein ISD to quickly and efficiently inform parents about school news. Messages are sent to parents both through e-mail and phone. IRIS may be used for both emergency and important non-emergency messages.
In order to receive the messages sent by IRIS, it is important for parents to have current contact information in the system. IRIS is originally set to the contact information entered in Klein ISD’s computer system. However, parents can choose to change or add contact information to the IRIS system in order to direct messages to certain e-mail addresses or phone numbers.
