March 3, 2010: Grade 7 Writing
April 6, 2010: Grade 8 Math
April 7, 2010: Grade 8 Reading
April 27, 2010: Grades 6-7 Mathematics
April 28, 2010: Grades 6-7 Reading
April 29, 2010: Grade 8 Science
April 30, 2010: Grade 8 Social Studies
May 18, 2010: Grade 8 Math retest, if needed
May 19, 2010: Grade 8 Reading retest, if needed
8th grade students must pass the Reading and Math TAKS tests to be promoted to the 9th grade. If you have any questions about the new state requirements for grade advancement, please follow this link to the Texas Education Agency's Student Assessment webpage.

Weekly Test Schedule - 2009-2010 |
In order to keep students from having all of their tests on one day of the week, KISD has a schedule for classroom tests. This does not include "pop tests."
Monday: all courses and subjects not otherwise listed/social studies
Tuesday: mathematics/English
Wednesday: science/all courses and subjects not otherwise listed
Thursday: social studies/mathematics
Friday: English/science |
