Well, a year is over. What a great year it was! I enjoyed teaching your precious children this year. Thank you for sharing them with me everyday. I will miss them next year, but I know they will make great 5th graders! I hope that you will come and visit often.

To my future 4th graders, I can't wait to meet you! I am busy preparing fun lessons for you this summer. Take a minute to look around the site to see some of the things that you will be learning next year. There is also a short video about me under "About Miss Kline" if you want to get a headstart! :)

To all students: Spend your summer browsing the links page. I will be posting more as the summer continues. There are some fun websites out there for you!

If you are unable to open one of the downloads on any of my pages, look to the left hand side of your screen. You will see a button that says "click to get FREE browser plugins." If you click this link, you will be taken to a place on the Klein ISD website where you can download Adobe, Microsoft Word Viewer, Microsoft Excel Viewer, and Microsoft Power Point Viewer. This will allow you to view documents that I have created even if you do not have the actual program installed on your computer.

I will often attach pictures of activities that we do in the classroom. Click on the "Picture" link every once in awhile to see if your child made the "brag book." You should be able to save the pictures to your own computer if you would like a copy. I will also be putting together a scrapbook/yearbook of both classes throughout the year. At the end of the year, it will be available for purchase. If you happen to take any great pictures throughout the year, please email them to me so that I can attach them to the website or add them to the book.

Every weekend, I put a trivia question on my website. The kids can send me an email with the answer and will earn tickets. Sometimes the "email your teacher" link does not work. So make sure you send me an email from your home computer. In order to find the answer, you may have to do an Internet search, look in a textbook or encyclopedia, or ask someone that might know the answer. Mom and Dad, you can assist if you need to, but let your child do as much of the work as possible! I must receive the answer via email or on a written piece of paper by 8:20 on MONDAY!
