Science will be an exciting experience this year with many hands-on labs. 7th grade science concentrates on life science, but we will also investigate how chemistry, physics and earth science plays a role in living systems.
Grading Guidelines:
Major Grades--Tests, major labs, projects--60% Minor Grades--Quizzes, labs, daily assignments--30% Homework--Study strategies, test corrections, research--10%

Homework:
I will be assigning weekly homework where the students will be utilizing different study strategies for upcoming tests. My goal is that students will discover the most effective strategies for themselves and that spreading the studying across several days is a better method than cramming the night before.
