Parent Involvement Department
The Parent Involvement Department is committed to help families in their effort to support their children’s education.
The department works in conjunction with teachers, administrators and other Kaiser staff, developing activities and strategies to provide the tools to better support the education and formation of their children.

Kaiser offers to the parents:
- Four levels of ESL classes for adults, in partnership with HCDE. (Tue, Wed and Thu from 8:30- 11:30 A.M)
- Parent Center: Guided activities for parents to support their children’s education.
- Speakers from inside and outside the District share with the families different strategies to improve their life and become active members in their communities.
- Computer classes for adults in partnership with the Mexican Institute of Greater Houston.

El Departamento de Participación para Padres esta comprometido a ayudar a las familias en su esfuerzo para apoyar la educación de sus hijos.

El departamento trabaja con los maestros, administradores y otro personal de Kaiser, desarrollando actividades y planeando estrategias para otorgar a los padres las herramientas que les ayude en la formación de sus hijos.

La escuela Kaiser le ofrece a los padres:
- Cuatro niveles de clases de Ingles para adultos. Las clases son desarrolladas en conjunto con El Departamento de educación del condado de Harris (HCDE) (Martes, Miércoles y Jueves de 8:30- 11:30 A.M)
- Centro para Padres: Allí se desarrollan actividades dirigidas que tiene como objetivo ayudar a los padres en la educación de sus hijos.
- Profesionales entrenados que pertenecen al distrito de Klein y otros profesionales son invitados para ofrecer conferencia a los padres de familia. En estas conferencias se desarrollan estrategias para que puedan avanzar en su vida personal así como ayudarlos a participar como miembros activos de la comunidad.
- Se ofrecen clases de computación para adultos, las cuales son desarrolladas en conjunto con el Instituto Mexicano para el área de Houston.

Bus Routes and Transportation
Effective immediately, Klein ISD has implemented the following check in procedures:
1. When a visitor comes to the front office, the individual must produce a Texas driver's license. The license will be scanned using the V-soft system, and a visitor's badge will be printed. Visitors will not be permitted in the building without a badge.
2. Registration cards will be checked for verification that the person is permitted to have contact with the child.
3. Visitors must sign in and out on the visitor's sheet.
4. Only parents may eat lunch with a child.
Parent Notification Requirements
Parents Right to Know: Each School year, a Local Education Agency (LEA)receiving Title I, Part A funds must notify the parents of each student attending any Title I, Part A campus that the LEA will provide to the parents upon request (and in a timely manner) information regarding the professional qualifications of the student's classroom teachers, including the following information:
*Whether the teacher has met the state qualification and licensiing criteria for the grade levels and the subject areas in which the teacher provides instruction.
*Whether the teacher is teaching under emergency or other provisional status through which state qualification or licensing criteria have been waived.
*The baccalaureate degree major of the teacher and any other graduate certification or degree held by the teacher, and the field of discipline of the certification or degree.
*Whether the child is provided services by paraprofessionals and, if so, their qualifications.
