The Press Corps makes weekly announcements on the intercom about things that might interest students at Krahn. They interview people who visit the school, preview upcoming events, and sniff out news stories about students and teachers who are doing interesting things.

Older students are assigned to younger children who may need a friend. The older child acts as a mentor. The children meet and play in the counseling office once a week.

Helping Hands do any jobs that are helpful. They cut, staple, sort, straighten, dust, fold cards, and deliver things.

This crew each week makes and gives out a birthday card to each child or adult whose birthday falls during that week.

The Attitude Adjusters wear a Smiley badge and promote the triple P's. The Power of Postivie People. They ask people to tell them three things that are good about today and read these on the Thursday announcements. They do kind things for the teachers. They deliver classroom attitude posters each week.

This crew helps 1st and 2nd graders practice their reading. The crew members are assigned a class and go before school two mornings a week to help the younger children read.

New students receive an orientation and tour from the Friendship Ambassadors.

This crew recycles paper in the building each Friday afternoon and dumps it into the recyle bin earning money for the school.

The Shutter Bugs snap pictures of children nominated by their teacher for The Wall of Winners. They also take pictures of interestsing happenings at Krahn
